The origin of the noun “Doudou” (which literally means “Soft-Soft”) is from French Creole roots and its probably a child’s most cherished, unable-to-let-go item as a toddler.
Doudou is the name of the original French Baby comforter. It can be a dummy, a small piece of fabric, Mummy’s scarf or a super-soft toy like BunnyBoo, Babybox’s gorgeous little white rabbit. These objects provide reassurance during times of stress, change or separation and provide children with a pleasant and reassuring feeling they get from a special object’s soft touch.
